WHEN IT COMES TO OUR CORE BELIEFS,
WE WANT TO BE ‘MERELY CHRISTIAN.’
There are a lot of different views within Christianity on important issues. Our aim is to emphasize those doctrines that reflect the foundational beliefs of the historical Church.
WE BELIEVE that the Bible is inspired by God, perfect in all that it teaches, and the final authority in faith and life.
WE BELIEVE that there is one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE that humanity is spiritually broken and lost because of sin that separates us from God.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus is the perfect Son of God, both fully God and fully human, who gave his life for the sins of the world.
WE BELIEVE that salvation—restored relationship with God for all eternity—is a free gift that cannot be earned, but can only be received by faith in Jesus.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus will physically return to judge both the living and the dead, and to establish God’s kingdom on earth.
